This work is a meditation upon the hours that Christ spent in fnal prayer in the garden of Gethsemane. It is in the form of a dialogue between Him and God, in which both pose questions and provide answers as Christ seeks to understand that which He is and is about to become.
Questions and answers are to be found in each chord, succession of chords and rest between chords; the performer and the listener may fnd their own interpretation and understanding of each event.
